Everything You Need to Know
Grand Theft Auto VI is the most anticipated video game in years, and for many fans, of all time. Developed by Rockstar Games, it’s the long-awaited follow-up to 2013’s Grand Theft Auto V, a game that went on to become one of the best-selling titles in history and is still played by millions more than a decade later. Expectations for GTA 6 are enormous, and this hub is where we track everything worth knowing as launch approaches.
GTA 6 is set in the fictional state of Leonida, a vibrant reimagining of Florida, centered on a modern version of Vice City, the neon-soaked, Miami-inspired city longtime fans will instantly recognize. It’s the series’ first mainline return to Vice City in years, and a big part of why the setting reveal landed so hard with the community. The game follows dual protagonists, Jason and Lucia, in what Rockstar has described as its most ambitious story yet.
The game is currently set to release on November 19, 2026, launching first on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release hasn’t been confirmed, though based on Rockstar’s history with GTA 5, many expect one to follow later. As with any release of this scale, plenty of questions remain, including pricing, special editions, the size of the map, pre-orders, and much more.
That’s exactly what we cover here. From release date updates and pricing breakdowns to deep dives on the map, characters, and platforms, this hub brings together everything we know about GTA 6 in one place, and we keep it current as Rockstar reveals more. Whether you’re counting down to launch or just catching up, start here.
